Andrea Pellegrino

Andrea Pellegrino is an expert in building dynamic, long-term relationships between associations and their members/customers. A marketing professional with more than 25 years market-proven experience, she specializes in helping not-for-profit organizations turn their research findings, strategic planning goals, and organization brands into successful, market-driven realities.

Andrea’s expertise covers all aspects of direct response marketing, including market research and analysis; strategic planning; creative and production management in all media, from mail to interactive; list research; financial projections; database development; and results analysis. Her career also includes both extensive consulting and hands-on association management experience. Having worked on both sides of the for-profit/not-for-profit “divide,” Andrea brings a unique understanding to the challenges of building relationships through direct marketing.

Prior to founding The Maia Marketing Group in 2000, Andrea’s marketing agency background included positions as Vice President of AB&C Marketing, and Senior Account Executive at Marketing General, Inc.  Her association management experience includes duties as Vice President for Membership and Marketing at the Greater Washington Society of Association Executives, and Assistant Director of Marketing at the US Chamber of Commerce. She has helped more than 50 national and international organizations grow their memberships and their revenues through effective marketing and communications.

Anthony Casilio

As the founder of AWP Research, Tony has more than 20 years of experience in research methodologies and statistical analysis, and has worked with more than 150 associations and not-for-profits, conducting market and member research.

As former Director of Market Research for the National Association of Home Builders, Tony implemented ongoing quantitative and qualitative research programs supporting association efforts in membership marketing and retention, educational needs and preferences, conference attendance, legislative lobbying, and industry issue awareness. Prior to AWP Research Tony was Vice President with EGIS, Inc., a research and consulting firm with offices in Washington, Tokyo, Paris, and Madrid. Tony has a Master of Science from Yale University.

Mark Doyon

Mark Doyon guides strategic marketing and communications planning for organizations. A 21-year veteran of non-profit management, he specializes in the creative integration of image branding, public relations and product marketing through a variety of media.

Prior to founding Wampus Multimedia LLC, a full-service marketing communications firm, ebook publisher, and music label, Mr. Doyon spent 13 years directing communications programs for a pair of trade associations (the Healthcare Distribution Management Association and the National Association of Rehabilitation Facilities) and a professional society (the National Rehabilitation Association). His expertise spans all aspects of communications, from writing, editing and research to publishing, marketing, public relations and design, with a focus on conveying messages powerfully through the Internet.

An avid writer and musician, Mr. Doyon published his first collection of short fiction, Bonneville Stories, in 2001, and released CDs of original music as Arms of Kismet in 2004 and 2005.

Mr. Doyon holds a bachelor of arts degree in English from the College of William and Mary, and is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Organization Management.  He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in arts management from the Shenandoah Conservatory.

Daniel A. Martinage, CAE

Daniel A. Martinage has more than 28 years experience in the association community including positions as the Executive Director of the International Coach Federation, the Home Automation and Networking Association, the National Multifamily Housing Industry Council, and Associate Director of the Institute of Management Consultants.

As Principal of AssociationCoach.com, Dan brings together extensive experience in qualitative research (focus groups and key stakeholder interviews), strategic planning, and executive coaching. His insights on coaching have been featured in dozens of news media including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Miami Herald, The Los Angeles Times, USA Today, Business Week, Money Magazine and Associations Now. He has also made guest appearances on Good Morning America Denver and National Public Radio to discuss his unique approach to coaching and strategy building.

Recipient of the Greater Washington Society of Association Executive’s Shining Star Award, Dan holds a Master of Arts in Science and Technology from The George Washington University.
